At 9am Wednesday the 21st of March I had to take my long time friend of 17 years to the vet to be put to sleep.  I was told a few years ago that he had pancreatic failure and I was doing all that could be done to make his last few years comfortable as possible.  I decided after seeing that he wasn't eating, and the his coat was not longer the beauty I remember, that it had become greasy and that he now had developed phenomena, that it was time, that I didn't want him in any more pain. So I said my goodbyes and I did what had to be done.  In my mourning I would like something to help remember the good times, so I of anyone that wishes to I would love a drawing or painting or whatever.  My cat was a pure white short hair with green eyes, he was a shy cat, but lovable at the same time.  Thought hard of hearing at times, he was his own cat, love to sun himself in the middle of the flower garden.  I used to have a silver mitt ferret that would play with him, though he would rather be left alone.  My cats' name was Samson, and he was my strong man.  I loved him dearly.  Thank everyone in advance who helps me cherish his memory.
